I'll be brief.
In these days 3 important events occured, that took the interest of the entire world, I mean the Royal Wedding of William&Kate (29th April 2011), the Beatification of Pope John Paul II (1st May 2011) and the Killing of Osama Bin Laden (2nd May 2011).
Now I say, how the hell is it possible that three such different facts can be celebrated the same way????
Same huge crowd in the streets, same people screaming with joy, same flags waving in the name of glory, peace, love and victory.
Of course, that can happen for the Beatification of a Giant of God like Wojtila, as well as for the Wedding of the century...but we can't celebrate that way the death of one man, whoever he is...whatever he did...
The world has won one fight against terrorism, for sure, but please stop shouting victory, burning images of the Enemy, spreading fake pictures of a mutilated corpse or whatsoever, since this is disrespectful both towards Life and Death.
Sometimes the best way to celebrate is a composed silence.
